Villa in Competa, Andalucia: Villa Barbaro

A stay in Villa Barbaro offers you the best of both worlds. Just 3km from the picturesque village of Cómpeta, yet only 20 minutes drive to the coastal resorts of Torrox & Nerja, it's the ideal location for a relaxing holiday. With stunning views down the valley and across to the Almijara & Tejeda mountain ranges, the house is in a peaceful but not isolated location and is easily approached down a well maintained 200m concrete drive. Surrounded by delightfully planted gardens and it's very own pine forest, there is a large sun terrace with heated private pool, outdoor shower and barbeque.

The jasmine decked porch leads you through to an open plan spacious air-conditioned lounge & dining room with archway through to the fully equipped kitchen. Double doors from the lounge take you through to another large terrace. With it's shady pergola, it's the perfect place for al fresco dining and a safe and separate area for young children to play away from the pool. The villa has 3 bedrooms, en suite bathroom and shower room.

Location: Villa Barbaro is 50 minutes drive from Malaga airport. The house is 200mts off the main Torrox to Competa road and is easily approached by car down a well maintained concrete drive. It is ideally situated within easy driving distance of both villages. It is 3km from Competa and 12km from the coast at Torrox. The house is in a peaceful, but not isolated location and overlooks the Sierra Almijara national park. There are excellent walks within this area, also great opportunities for horse riding & pony trekking for all abilities.For keen golfers there are 2 18 hole golf courses within easy driving distance. The popular resort of Nerja is 20km away. Granada & the Alhambra Palace are one and a half hour's drive and skiing in the Sierra Nevadas is 2 hours away.

Kitchen: Gas hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer, slow cooker, filter jug, kettle & toaster.
Washing machine & tumble dryer housed separately in laundry area at rear of the villa.

Bedrooms: 1 king size bedroom, 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom, 1 travel cot in villa, all bedrooms have free standing fans.

En suite bathroom: Bath & shower, wc, bidet & sink.

Shower room: Shower, wc & sink.

Lounge/Dining room: Air conditioning, log burner stove, satellite TV, DVD player, CD player, dining for 6-8

Exterior: Pool terrace & outdoor shower, separate dining terrace, 5 sun beds, 2 parasols, dining seating for 6-8, barbeque, pergola with electric insect repellent lamp & outdoor fridge.

Private parking: Ample parking for 3 vehicles.

General: Linen provided, Towels provided, airconditioning, central heating and sun beds.

Please Note: The house has 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and 1 shower room, sleeping 6. Please state number & ages in your party when making an enquiry. Total accommodation sleeps up to 6 and 1 infant Rates & availability as shown. A small grocery pack of basic provisions (tea, coffee, milk, orange juice, bread & butter) can be arranged when arriving late at an additional cost to be paid during your stay. All bed linen & towels are provided, please bring your own beach/pool towels. Care taking visits are made during your stay to clean the pool, change gas bottles & water plants. These are done for your own convenience and with minimum intrusion to your privacy.
